HOW TO CARE FOR CERAMIC COATING

-
For exterior cleaning, we recommend HAND WASH ONLY on a weekly basis, to avoid excessive contamination buildup.

-
Use a quality car soap. We recommend a pH balanced car soap such as Equilibrium or Allure pH Neutral Soap specifically formulated for Ceramic and Graphene coatings.

-
Avoid washing in direct sunlight to minimize streaking and water spotting.

-
Wash from the roof downwards using a high quality microfiber mitt, leaving the dirtiest sections last, avoiding possible cross-contamination. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND you follow up with Evolution for a brilliant shine and gloss.

-
For interior cleaning, we recommend using XPEL Interior Cleaner (as needed) on your leather, plastics, and non-fabric surfaces. For fabric areas, we recommend vacuuming and using a clean, high quality microfiber (The Dehydrator).

-
We recommend testing in an inconspicuous area before applying XPEL Interior Cleaner – please read directions before applying.
Drying
-
Always dry the exterior surfaces completely using a clean, soft, lint free microfiber towel or air blower. Never allow water to evaporate on its own. Tap water can contain minerals which leave deposits on your coating, creating unwanted water spots.
-
Always avoid aggressive wiping.
HOW TO CARE FOR PAINT PROTECTION FILM
-
Wait 48 hours after installation to wash your car.
-
Remove insect or other stains as soon as possible with XPEL PPF Cleaner.
-
Refrain from using harsh cleaning chemicals. Be sure to use cleaners specifically formulated for PPF.
-
Seal with Evolution at least once every 6 months to preserve high gloss or XPEL's Ceramic Boost.
-
Light scratches in the film will self-heal in 20-30 minutes at room temperature. In colder conditions, or to accelerate the process, pour warm water (120°F) over the affected area.
-
Avoid using a high-pressure water source near the edges of the film, it can cause the film to lift and/or become damaged.
